Three Great Indie Book Kickstarters
Support Indies by Buying Books through Crowdfunding Campaigns this Fall!
Alexander Hellene is crowd-funding the final book in his sword and planet adventure series!
“Swordfights, freaky monsters, and intrigue on an alien planet.”
The campaign reached 100% funded yesterday, Sept. 30th, but there are stretch goals to incentivize further contributions, such as an omnibus edition and illustrations.
We Recommend!
We have reviewed The Last Ancestor, the first book in The Swordbringer series. We also interviewed Hellene at the time of the second book’s release.
This campaign ends Monday, November 21, 2022.
Robert Kroese is crowdfunding his series of “secret history” sci-fi books.
“Humanity’s only chance is a shadowy organization called GRAIL—the modern day heirs to the Knights Templar—which has discovered the secret to time travel.”
This campaign is also fully funded. There are two particularly exciting Add-on Rewards: the Kroese Audiobook Library—120+ hours of sci-fi and fantasy listening—and the Based Authors Package—a collection featuring a number of authors and some BasedCon swag!
We Recommend!
We have reviewed The Brand of the Warlock, the first book in Kroese’s sword and sorcery series.
This campaign ends Friday, October 21, 2022.
Paula Richey will be opening the Kickstarter for new editions of her superhero novel Penance on October 5th, 2022.
“A scrappy ex-henchgirl on the run. An alien supersoldier, branded a traitor. And now, they have an invasion to repel.”
Physical copies of Penance were unavailable for a while when the small publisher Silver Empire closed, so we are excited to see it re-released—in exciting new illustrated and audiobook editions!
We Recommend!
We reviewed Penance when it first came out, as well as another book in the larger shared universe.
